Andrea’s superpower is being organized and thinking ahead. During the pandemic, she foresaw that she would be retiring from her full-time job as a hand therapist at a hospital by the fall of 2023. To celebrate, she booked a cruise while prices were low. Smart cookie, that Andrea.
Fast forward to the fall of 2023, after we’d been to Japan, Boston, Edmonton, and Calgary for KAATSU, suddenly we had one more trip looming. Fortunately, thanks to some forward thinking on my part, we have distribution systems in place so that even when we’re out of the country, we can fulfill orders and take care of customers while we’re away. While it’s not quite as effective as being at home, having these things in place did allow us to get away to celebrate Andrea’s semi-retirement, visiting Australia and New Zealand for three weeks.
Interestingly enough, while we were away I introduced KAATSU to a lot of people, on land and on sea. You get some fun questions when you wear KAATSU to the gym or while walking the walking track on a cruise ship 😉
Anyway, we’re back now. I’m hoping we can set up a KAATSU training course in Vancouver at the end of this year. I’ll keep you posted!
