The weather in the Niagara Region of Canada has been strange this winter. Normally in February we’d be in the grip of the cold. Wind would be howling, snow would be blowing, our yards all covered in white. Not this year, and especially not today. It’s rainy, cold (but not cold enough to snow), and just blech. It’s a rotten day to go to the gym. Good thing I have my KAATSU.
With KAATSU, the Gym is Where You Are
You don’t need more than bodyweight to work out effectively with KAATSU. If you have a couple of soup cans in your cupboard, you have enough weight to work out with KAATSU. That’s the beautiful thing about KAATSU. You can work with just your bodyweight and get results. What can you do?
Lower Body:
- Bodyweight Squats
- Lunges
- Single Leg Deadlifts
- Glute / Hip Bridge
- Calf Raises
- Walk up and down your stairs, or do step-ups on a single step
Upper Body:
- Push Ups (Full, Knee, Decline, Elevated, or Wall)
- Planks
- Bird Dog Holds
- Tricep Dips
- Rows (Doorframe Row)
- Bicep Curls
- Tricep Extensions
- Side Lateral Raises
Cardio:
- Jumping Jacks
- Walking Jacks
- High Knees
- Walk in Place
- Jog in Place
There are dozens of other exercises you can do, but the point is: just add KAATSU to boost the intensity of these exercises. Wherever you are, you can work out with KAATSU. At the office. Outdoors. Or, on blech days like this, indoors, with just your bodyweight, resistance bands, or a couple of soup cans.
Let us know how you KAATSU! 🙂
