There are a whole lot of people getting started with KAATSU these days, which is very exciting! Of course, the question of “What do I do with KAATSU?” is one of the more frequent ones. The answer, naturally, is “it depends on your goals”. However, there’s one thing that everyone can do with KAATSU that is going to be beneficial.
Walk
Oh, so boring, I know, but walking with KAATSU is probably one of the easiest activities you can do with KAATSU. I know many people who don’t like to lift weights or go to the gym, but walking – well – we do that every day, don’t we? Walking at a low intensity using KAATSU has been researched and is demonstrated to produce better results than walking without KAATSU.
Want to take your KAATSU walking up a notch? Walk uphill, or downhill, or go up and down stairs. These are all simple bodyweight exercises that will provide a bit more challenge. If you have moderate balance and you’re near a beach, go walking barefoot in the sand to challenge your balance muscles even further. And, if you’re a fan of grounding / earthing, you’ll get that additional bonus while walking barefoot.
KAATSU use doesn’t have to be limited to the gym. I wear it while working at my desk, typing emails, talking to customers on the phone, and walking around my office or to the kitchen to get another cup of tea. (Being hydrated while using KAATSU’s important! :))
There are plenty of ways to incorporate KAATSU use into your life. I hope you’ll find a way that works for you!
