KAATSU has a strong base with Olympic and Paralympic athletes around the world, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS and Major League Soccer, as well as with collegiate athletes in over 70 universities. The U.S. military are also heavy users of KAATSU with personnel and special operators in the U.S. Navy, Army and Air Force.
You’ll also hear of KAATSU use among firefighters, acrobats, business executives, professional motorcycle riders, disabled veterans, and aquatic athletes (surfers, paddleboarders, kayakers, swimmers and water polo players), and extreme athletes in mountaineering and channel swimming. It’s quite an eclectic list.
The largest market for KAATSU is among aging Baby Boomers (i.e., people over the age of 55), and the largest single demographic of KAATSU users is women between the ages of 40~60. The fitness, health, and beauty benefits of KAATSU are becoming more widely known by people across a wide range of demographics. It is our hope that one day, we will be able to fulfill Dr. Sato’s dream of making KAATSU available for anyone, anywhere, to keep people healthy for their entire lives.
I hope this answers the question of who uses KAATSU. If you would like more clarification, please read through the other FAQs about KAATSU, or leave a question in the comment box below.
