One of the beautiful things about using KAATSU is the Cycle Mode. It’s a fully automated program that inflates the KAATSU Air Bands and holds pressure for 30 seconds before deflating for 5 seconds. Then it repeats the pattern but repressurizes the Air Bands at a slightly higher pressure each time. This a completely automated cycle that you can run for 30~35 minutes.*
Once you have the KAATSU C3 set up in Cycle Mode, you can go about your workout without having to think about whether the pressure needs to be released. You can just work out at your own pace. There’s no need to fuss with your bands. The KAATSU C3 controller takes care of the rest.
If you’ve experienced other BFR devices, you know there’s a range of products available. Some are fully manual (i.e. DIY wraps). Others have their own pumps you have to pump up yourself. There are other powered ones but they’re either limited in their range (as far as the air hose goes), or where you can use them (need plugs), or they only work by holding a constant pressure (can be really uncomfortable to use).
Only KAATSU offers its patented Cycle Mode with its unique pressure-on, pressure-off system, as well as being fully portable and comfortable to use by virtually anyone and anywhere. This combination of comfort and convenience is what draws so many people to use it and why it’s considered the “gold standard” of BFR equipment.
* One Set for Arms in Cycle Mode takes approximately 5 minutes. Sets on Legs take a little longer as there’s more volume to inflate on the leg bands.
