One of the most beautiful things about KAATSU is its Cycle mode. It’s what sets KAATSU apart from any other product of its type, because only KAATSU has it. For those new to KAATSU, let me give you an overview of how it works.
When you put on the KAATSU Air Bands and start the KAATSU Cycle mode, the compressor will gently inflate the bands and hold that pressure for 30 seconds. Then there is a complete release of pressure for 5 seconds. Following that, the compressor will inflate the bands again to a slightly higher pressure, holding it for 30 seconds before the 5 second decompression. This continues, taking the user through 8 incrementally higher pressure settings during one set in KAATSU Cycle mode.
Why Does This Matter?
There are a few reasons this is important.
Comfort
KAATSU Cycle mode is more easily tolerated by people of all ages. Users report the rhythmic, gentle compression and decompression cycle makes KAATSU much more comfortable than other products on the market. If you’re going to invest in fitness equipment, you want to maximize the chance you’re going to like it so you will continue to use it, right?
Effectiveness
While KAATSU’s Cycle mode makes KAATSU more comfortable, it doesn’t significantly decrease its effectiveness compared to the KAATSU Constant mode.
Safety
Because KAATSU’s Cycle mode releases pressure regularly, it is ultimately safer than other products that require pressures to be set and held for longer periods of time.
Multi-Functional
The rhythmic compression and decompression of the KAATSU Cycle is what creates the “magic” in the human body, allowing KAATSU to be used for more than just strength training. The Cycle is what triggers the release of nitric oxide from the endothelial cells, helping to improve the flexibility of your blood vessels. Cycle mode provides a gentle “flushing” of metabolic waste from the tissues making KAATSU useful for recovery from physical/athletic exertion. The rhythmic expansion and contraction of the veins and capillaries in the body increase blood flow and make KAATSU useful for warming up prior to physical activity.
These are but a few examples of how KAATSU’s Cycle mode is what makes the difference, compared to other products in the market. You may have seen other products that can be used for “KAATSU Training”, but if they don’t have a Cycle mode, they’re not really KAATSU.
