What do you think of when you hear the word “Biohacking”?
I’m one of those folks who gets intrigued when they hear words like this. While I had heard the word, I didn’t really know what it entailed. When I heard that many biohackers are into KAATSU, I had to learn more!
Pop culture has created an image of a “hacker” as a computer geek who knows their way around technology and who can do nefarious things on computers because their knowledge allows them to circumvent security systems etc. I prefer to think of them as creative problem solvers who have discovered ways to be more effective at doing things, and mostly for good 😉
Biohackers share the same hacking mentality. They just apply that creativity to their bodies. Some biohackers focus on adding technology to their bodies to create more convenient ways of doing things. Others focus on applying technology to their bodies for better health and fitness. Then there are those who look for ways to use supplements, enzymes, peptides, and other products in creative ways to improve health and wellbeing.
Why do biohackers like KAATSU? I think it’s because KAATSU is a simple, easy to use device that produces results beyond what we think it should do. Who knew applying pneumatic air bands to one’s arms or legs could produce the range of beneficial physiological results that KAATSU does? I’m still blown away when I think about it.
Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Toronto Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Bulletproof Human Potential Coach Nathalie Niddam. Nathalie is the creator and host of the Biohacking Superhuman Performance podcast which features “cutting edge guests in the field of Longevity, Health Optimization and, of course, Biohacking”.
You’ll be able to hear Nathalie’s interview KAATSU Global CEO Steven Munatones and CRO John Doolittle as they discuss all things KAATSU. The podcast will likely hit the internet in April. Nathalie has started her KAATSU journey and we look forward to helping her and other Canadian biohackers use KAATSU to help improve their health and wellbeing!
