I’m not as young as I used to be. At least, that’s what I’m being told more often by doctors, chiropractors, and physiotherapists. My body’s telling me that as well, albeit in a different way. After cycling, kendo, or even a long day of yardwork my body is starting to remind me of my age. Thankfully, I have KAATSU.
Muscle soreness is normal after a workout or a long day working. Using KAATSU after exertion helps the body remove metabolic waste faster. The engorgement of blood in the limbs builds pressure in the veins and capillaries. When the KAATSU Air Bands are deflated during the KAATSU Cycle, the additional pressure in the veins is released and the outflow flushes out metabolic waste faster than without the pressure buildup.

Personally, I find using KAATSU after a bike ride or a kendo training session leaves me refreshed. Often I have little to no soreness when I use KAATSU as part of my cooldown and post-exercise recovery. Yesterday I spent the day weeding, trimming hedges, cutting down small trees and hauling away heaps of yard waste. Using KAATSU in the evening left me fresh to do it all again today. Thankfully, I don’t have to, but at least I’m fresh for a bike ride or some kendo training today. Perhaps both.
