My wife and I went out for Valentines Day yesterday. We’ll be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this September. Not that we’re not romantic, but going out a day early avoids the stampede of other couples that will undoubtedly fill our favourite restaurant tonight. Going out early just seemed like a smart thing to do.
Another thing that seems smart to do is KAATSU. And, just like love, it’s something best expressed every day 🙂 For me, KAATSU has become part of my self-care program. It’s something I do because I care about myself, and my wife, and family.
Sound corny? Perhaps it is, but let’s face it: the best person to take care of you is you. If you want to take care of other people, you need to be in sufficient physical, mental, and emotional condition to do so. KAATSU can help with the physical side of things, which then can influence your mental and emotional state to the better.
So, for myself and the people I love, I do KAATSU. I’m using it now while I write this blog post. Wearing KAATSU while working at a desk improves circulation and overall cardiovascular health. Using it while walking or doing light exercise helps build muscle without overly stressing the body. Using it after intense exercise helps you recover faster.
I can’t think of a better reason to use KAATSU than to take better care of yourself so you can take care of others. It’s easy to use. It’s effective. And, I think it has the potential to make life better for you and those you love through improving your health.
